Seeing the classic landscape through a contemporary perception of light, space and impression. Pushing the edges of drawing and printmaking with layered photographic halftones. Leading it a step further to make them loose, washy, textured by the hand and the nuances of laid watercolor. How those delicate overlaps of color washes and little pools of tinted water dissolve the perfection of a ben day dot, but still give a veil of image. What is obscured, what is illuminated? What becomes seen though shape and shadow?
