Japanese tissue paper and wax. 2004-2015
Wax coated kozu tissue paper is inlaid into reductive moulds of alphabet letters. The wax moulded letters are stacked and spell out the subject lines of account coorespondence & notices from my student loan servicing centers. These physical "Explanations of Terms" create unstable ivory like towers. The information held within remains obscured by the alternate physical orrientation.
Exhibited at ATA Gallery, San Francisco, CA.
