Red pencil, white-out, transparent ink, rayon flock and Xerox toner on all purpose copy paper, 8 x 11 in. 2003-2005

Handwriting mistakes cataloged in phone message logs are gathered over the course of a year and photocopied. The mistakes are indicated with red pencil and all other legible information is thickly painted over with white out. Intricate patterns are layered over these white voids to create a new 'sense' of information - only it is indeciperable and is left only as a fuzzy haze.
