WORKSHOPS + TUTORIALS | Spring 2020

I will be teaching a 5 Sunday workshop at the Richmond Art Center this spring in Richmond California!

Have you always wanted to expand your Screen Printing skills? Did you learn some basic printing techniques from the internet and are ready to gain more in-depth skills? Join me for Color Curiosity at the Richmond Art Center (RAC) in Richmond, CA.

The RAC is a great community art center with a robust exhibition program and numerous teaching studios across several disciplines. Students who complete Screen Printing Classes at the RAC are eligible to use the studio independently for a fee. Also, Open Studio Time is included with each screen printing course during the session you're enrolled... a great way to dive deeper into your projects and experiment with your ideas! Feel free to contact me to ask questions and get answers. Register for the class directly at the Richmond Art Center

Color Curiosity: Screen Printing Study.

Sundays: - - - - 10 am - 4 pm

CANCELED DUE TO COVID19 CRISIS.

Explore color screen printing through a variety of layered image making processes. Learn methods for color juxtaposition, creating additional color through overlapping shape and texture, and create simple photographic halftones using the computer. This class is intended for students with basic screen printing experience to expand their image making and printing skills as they develop a small edition of prints.

Everyone should bring high contrast black and white images, drawings, text, and/or photographs to class - original artwork, printouts, and digital files are all acceptable. Depending on the scope of your desired project, work outside of the classroom may be necessary. No class on May 10.
